What's Included in a trip to France with Karen?

•  A small, friendly group of 8-10 people: a small & intimate group ensures easy assimilation into the local culture. (8 travelers, plus 1-2 trip companions)

•  Full-time services of Karen Gros ~ Fluent in French, I will assist you with reservations and translations. I will assist you in planning your agenda, if you wish, as well as advise you of the best way to reach your desired locale.

•  Services of the French locals ~ I will offer you local experts who will make the fascinating history, art, culture, and gastronomy of Paris come alive for you. I will provide you with loads of information on the many markets, restaurants, museums, and activities in the area, so that you may get excited about the trip and start learning about your destination ahead of time.

•  In Paris, you will have free, direct entry to over 60 monuments and museums' permanent collections with a 4-day Paris Museum Pass. Not only will you gain free entry, but you will also avoid standing in line.

•  All transportations costs, except taxi, will be covered for all trips. In Paris, you will have unlimited metro and bus travel within the city of Paris for the entire week. Airport pick up and return is included in the Paris and Riveria trip prices. Airport pick up/return is NOT included for the Normandy/Brittany trip.

•  Complimentary items including lunch upon arrival, detailed Michelin street map (for Paris trip).

•  Free Time in which to discover and explore the way you wish. In Paris, you will have three full-days, three one-half days, and three evenings to be autonomous ~ this independence is a luxury in a city with such an abundant range of things to do. On the Riveria or Normandy/Brittany trips, you will have several opportunities for time on your own ~ to discover and experience, or perhaps nothing more than simply enjoying relaxing downtime by the pool.

•  Extra spending money : To budget yourselves for spending during free time, a good rule of thumb is to allow about $100 per day. This, of course, will vary widely depending upon individual spending & shopping habits.
