Hôtel Sous les Figuiers Bed & Breakfast, St Rémy de Provence
This enchanting “Hôtel de charme” is justly named, for the canopies of fig trees provides an indisputably Provencal setting. Set just outside of the old town of St. Rémy, the location is ideal for walking throughout the entire village, as well as to St. Paul's Mausoleum ~ where Vincent Van Gogh was sent after he cut off his ear ~ situated a half mile outside town.

Hôtel L'Évêché Maison d'hôtes, Vaison-la-Romaine
This 15th-century former bishops' residence is quaintly located on a narrow, charming street in the heart of the perched medieval village of Gallo-Roman Vaison-la-Romaine. A rare treat indeed to stay in the Provençal home of Jean-Loup and Aude Verdier.

La Villa Monticelli, Marseille
An exceptional Italian-style villa in a residential area of Marseille, La Villa Monticelli, is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Marseille ~ surrounded by handsome bourgeois mansions of the early 20th-century. The sunny terrace offers a view of the Méditerranean Sea in the distance. This lovely "maison d'hôtes" is the family home of owners Jean & Colette Paranque ~ all the more personal because they are friends of our family in Marseille. |
