Practical Information

  • This is a LAND ONLY package beginning in Avignon and ending in Marseille; the price does not include airfare.
  • Allow 10 days total travel time.
    You are responsible for arranging your flight; however, I am happy to advise you. When booking your airfare, please note the following:
    Outbound flight: Departs USA one day prior to tour start date due to overnight flight. Inbound flight: Departs Paris and arrives USA same day.
  • How to get to Provence: Several options are available to you:
    1. Round trip flight to Paris: take the high-speed train into Avignon; return to Paris on high-speed train from Marseille
    2. "Open jaws" flight: Fly into Avignon, and out of Marseille
    3. Round trip flight to Marseille (arrivals to Marseille airport require a trip supplement of $50 per person)
