Trip price: $3,520 per person (based on double)
Includes: 10 nights lodging in beautiful, high quality accommodations (3 nights in Saint-Michel-de-la-Pierre/Normandy, 3 nights in Mont Dol/Brittany, 2 nights in Torcé/Brittany, 2 nights in Guérande/Loire-Atlantique); all breakfasts; 4 lunches; 5 dinners; baggage transfer between lodging; van rental, insurance & fuel charges; tolls & parking; privately guided tours & visits; comprehensive trip insurance; carbon offsets for flights, and all highlights listed above. Please note that airfare, and ground transportation to/from airport are not included.

Practical Information

  • This is a LAND ONLY package beginning in St. Michel de la Pierre (Normandy) and ending in Guérande/La Baule Escoublac (Loire-Atlantique); price does not include airfare, nor transportation to and from, or within, Paris.

  • It is necessary that travelers spend one night in Paris before and after the tour, due to airline arrival and departure times. Therefore, please allow 14 days total travel time (departing USA on July 1st and returning to USA on July 14th).

  • The group will take the train together from Paris to Caen, and return together by train from La Baule Escoublac to Paris. (see below for details). In order to ensure that everyone is seated together, Karen will purchase train tickets on behalf of each traveler at the best price (to be reimbursed by traveler in euros).

  • How to get to Normandy from Paris:
    Non-stop train from Paris to Caen; trip duration: approx. 2-hours; cost: approx. $40 per person. A private chauffeur will collect each party in their respective hotels and drive everyone to the train station in Paris; cost: approx. $10 per person. Karen will then collect the minivan for the group at Caen train station.

  • How to return to Paris from Guérande/La Baule Escoublac:
    Non-stop high-speeed train from La Baule to Paris; trip duration: approx 3-hours; cost: approx. $80 per person. Karen will drive everyone together in the minivan from the bed & breakfast in Guérande to the train station in nearby La Baule (a 15-minute drive); van will be returned at the railstation prior to departure.
